Visited for a wedding! The staff was fantastic. The cabin we got ready in was beautiful. Overlooked the lake! Had the cutest fire pit area with these colorful chairs (made me wanna come back in the summer ) it just seemed like a great place to bring family and would return after the great experience for our friends wedding weekend! Also, I recommend it for a wedding!!

We had an excellent experience during our 3-night stay. The staff were very accommodating, friendly, and did everything thing they could to make us feel welcomed. The resort is beautiful. We also rented a golf cart and had a little mishap when the kids decided to jump on it while we weren't looking. When staff heard about it there first reaction was genuine concern for the safety of the kids and not the golf cart. We also rented a pontoon that was very reasonably priced for the quality of pontoon that we received and since they didn't have anybody renting after us they said it was fine to bring it back a little after our scheduled time with no extra charge. We will definitely be staying there again when we are in the area. Fair pricing, great staff, and a beautiful resort, what more could you ask for?

We had a wedding here in August. Maia was excellent to work with as she coordinated many of the details and also communicated with the resort on our behalf. The setting on the beach was absolutely wonderful for the ceremony and we had a blast at the reception indoors under the main lodge. Many of our guests stayed at the resort and really liked it and we stayed there as well and enjoyed all our time there. We also had our grooms dinner there and it worked out perfectly. Couldn’t have asked for much more. Will be coming back just to visit or with friends for a weekend.

Great place for families! Lots of cabins and activities. Only downfall is the lake is known for chiggers and a few got them. They also have a pool to use, although when we were there, the chlorine level was pretty high and it hurt your eyes after some time. Pontoons and jetskis for rental too. Overall 4 starts due to the chiggers and the chlorine.

Our extended family has been lucky enough to be going to the Bug-Bee Hive for over 20 years. It was an important part of our children's growing up, and now they're starting to bring their children, too! With over thirty of us now, the Bug-Bee Hive has something for everybody: a sand beach and the playground for the small children, a water trampoline and jumping tower for the older kids, and a pool/hot tub, bag tournament supplies, good fishing, and great walking/biking paths right outside the resort for the teens/adults. What we love most about the Bug-Bee Hive is that cabins have large living spaces for all of us to gather for dinner, games, and conversation, as well as super decks to enjoy the breeze off the lake together. It's our annual time to re-connect with one another. From ages 1 to 86, we love the Bug-Bee Hive, especially the amazing welcome from Paul, Lori, and Ben.

The resort isn't open for the camping season yet, but we came to look at seasonal spots. First impression was that the place is beautiful! Even though it's early spring and leaves aren't out on the trees yet, it's easy to see the place is going to be lovely once everything fills out. Lori gave us a tour and was so patient answering all our questions. The indoor pool looks to be a good size and they have a large hot tub in the main building. We didn't go over to see the beach area, but did check out the boat docks and saw the water trampoline. There is a very large playground at the main building and three adorable play houses, and I saw a basketball hoop when we drove into the parking lot. This place really looks to have it all and we are excited to start making memories here!
